They outline how services are delivered, how payment and cancellations work, and other important information.

I offer the following services:
Neuropsychological assessment and formulation
Cognitive rehabilitation and psychological interventions
Mental capacity assessments
Expert witness and medico-legal reporting
Consultation and training for professionals
I do not provide emergency or crisis services.
If you are in immediate distress or believe you may harm yourself or others, please contact your local emergency services (dial 999 or 111) or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency department.
You may contact me via info@gbneuro.com.
Emails are reviewed regularly, but rapid responses cannot be guaranteed.
Clinical matters, decisions, or therapeutic discussions will not be conducted via email; such topics are reserved for scheduled sessions.
All communication is treated confidentially in line with professional and legal standards.
You will receive a written quote or fee estimate before any work begins.
Invoices are payable by the due date stated, via BACS or another agreed method.
Full payment must be received before reports or written outputs are released.
Non-payment or overdue invoices may result in suspension of further services until cleared.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.
Failure to attend a booked session (in-person, phone or video) is also charged in full.
If you are late, experience connectivity issues, or are unable to participate for any reason, the full session fee may still apply.
If I need to reschedule, as much advance notice as possible will be given and an alternative slot offered.
If your sessions or assessments are funded by a private insurer, legal firm, or other third party:
You must confirm what your provider covers (sessions number, fee cap, authorisation).
I will invoice the third party where appropriate, but you remain responsible for any shortfall, excess or uncovered fees.
Cancellation and non-attendance terms still apply regardless of funder arrangements.
Secure video or phone sessions are available by prior arrangement.
You are responsible for ensuring a private, quiet, and confidential environment.
Headphones or earbuds are recommended to maintain privacy and sound quality.
If the connection drops, reconnection will be attempted for 10 minutes; if unresolved, the session may continue by phone.
Recording or distributing session content (audio or video) is not permitted without prior written consent from both parties.
All personal and clinical information is confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent, except where required by law or professional duty—for example, when:
There is serious risk of harm to you or another person
Safeguarding concerns arise (child or vulnerable adult)
Disclosure is ordered by a court
My practice complies with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
Please see my Privacy Policy for details on how your data is collected, stored, and used.
Additional work such as report writing, liaison letters or professional consultation will be discussed and agreed in advance.
Charges are based on the agreed professional rate and billed according to time spent.
Reports forming part of an agreed assessment package are included unless otherwise specified.
I value and promote diversity and inclusivity.
No person will be discriminated against on the grounds of age, gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
All work follows the ethical and professional standards of the HCPC and BPS.
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact info@gbneuro.com in writing.
Every effort will be made to resolve matters promptly and fairly.
If unresolved, you may raise your concern with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) via their official complaints process.
I take all reasonable steps to provide safe, high-quality care, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed. My liability is limited to the fee paid for the service, except in cases of death, serious injury, or anything the law does not allow me to limit.
All written materials, reports, and resources remain the intellectual property of Dr Giulia Bellesi unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You may not reproduce or distribute them without prior consent, except for your personal use or where required for your care.
You may end services at any time by providing written notice.
I may also withdraw services in cases of non-payment, repeated non-attendance, or other breaches of these Terms.
Outstanding balances remain payable.
Neither party will be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond their reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, illness, or technical failures).
Where disruption occurs, appointments will be rescheduled where possible.
I may update these Terms periodically.
Updated versions will be published on www.gbneuro.com and dated accordingly.
Continuing to use my services after publication of changes signifies acceptance of the new Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
