This is the range of private services I offer:
Neuropsychological assessment: Detailed cognitive and psychological evaluations are conducted to assess the impact of neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, MS). Assessments are tailored to address specific questions relating to diagnosis, rehabilitation planning, mental capacity, or medico-legal issues. Each evaluation includes a comprehensive clinical interview, standardised testing, and a written report with clear, practical recommendations. I am registered with all major health insurance providers, including: BUPA, AXA, Vitality, WPA, and Aviva.
Neuropsychological rehabilitation: Individualised rehabilitation programmes are developed to address cognitive, emotional, or behavioural challenges resulting from acquired brain injury or neurological illness. These may involve compensatory strategies, psychoeducation, emotional support, or cognitive retraining. Rehabilitation can be delivered on a one-to-one basis or as part of a wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), depending on needs, goals, and care settings. I also routinely provide assessments as well as rehabilitative interventions as a treating clinician with people with traumatic or acquired brain injury who are pursuing Personal Injury claims, and over time I have become well-experienced in navigating these kinds of contexts and associated challenges. I regularly work with Solicitors, Case Managers, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants and other members of MDTs.
Mental capacity assessments: This is an area of special interest for me, having served as a Special Medical Visitor for the Office of the Public Guardian and the Court of Protection since 2020. I complete a minimum of 20-30 mental capacity assessments per year as part of my practice. I cover a range of areas including (for instance) capacity to manage finances, make healthcare or welfare decisions, engage in legal proceedings, or execute a will (testamentary capacity).
Expert witness assessments and reports: I provide expert neuropsychological reports for civil cases, including personal injury and clinical negligence. These include, as required, detailed assessment and opinion regarding cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning, prognosis, rehabilitation needs, and impact on daily living and employability following brain injury. I accept private instructions and also Legal Aid rates. I am listed on the National Expert Witness Agency website here, and also on the UK Your Expert Witness Directory. I have completed training delivered by Bond Solon on excellence in report writing, and I am a member of the Expert Witness Institute.
Neuropsychological supervision for psychologists and other healthcare professionals: I offer clinical supervision and consultation for clinical psychologists, trainees, and allied healthcare professionals working in neuropsychological or neurological settings.
I am well used to work with clients presenting with a wide spectrum of challenges, from mild cognitive impairment to catastrophic consequences, both as assessor and treating clinician.
I work across most areas in London, as well as in Sussex, Surrey, and Kent. I can travel to clients' homes, and remote consultations may also be available for certain types of appointments, where appropriate.
I am bilingual and can offer services in English or Italian.
